At Sweetwater Pools, we are offering FREE lifeguard courses year round. Our courses are taught by trained professionals who can help you gain the skills and confidence necessary for providing care and instruction when it’s needed most.

Do I have to complete the online portion of the class before attending the in water portion of the class?
YES!!!
The online portion must be completed before midnight the day before your class.
What do I do after I complete my online class?
You will need to email a copy of your Certificate of Completion to our Training Director Kirby Fouser, at kirbyfouser@sweetwaterpools.net
What happens if I do not finish my online portion in time?
You will have to pay $50 to transfer to new class.
What do I need to bring to class?
Please make sure you have a bathing suit, 2 towels, StarGuard book, lunch, snacks, and a change of clothes.
***One piece bathing suits or a two-piece lifeguard suit is recommend. No bikinis!!!
How do I sign up for a class?
You can sign up on our website iLifeguard.net under “GET CERTIFIED”
Where are the classes located?
Mercer University – Atlanta Campus in the Sheffield Student Center.
What time are the classes?
9:00am-6:00pm
Do I have to attend both days (Saturday & Sunday) of the same weekend?
YES!!
You must attend both Saturday and Sunday of the class
How do I get a copy of my certification?
Your certification class is being paid for by Sweetwater Pools. If you would like a copy of your certification, it can be purchased for $250.
